ATTENTION: Tutoring is only for Preliminary and HSC level Advanced Mathematics (2U) and/or Extension 1 Mathematics (3U)! I am currently studying part time at the University of Newcastle, undergoing a Bachelor of Business degree. I aim to complete a major in Accounting and focus on that area in the future. I completed my HSC last year, in 2016, at Hunter Christian School, located in Newcastle. I attended this school for Yrs 11 - 12, and was enrolled at St Philips Christian College from Yrs 7 - 10. As I have only just completed the HSC, I still have a range of textbooks and other sources that can be helpful. In addition, I am comfortable with the Board of Studies and their exam formats. With a deep and comprehensive knowledge of all topics for Advanced Mathematics (2U) and Extension 1 Mathematics (3U), I will be able to assist in topic comprehension, problem solving and study skills.
Experience
Achieving scores of 99% in both Advanced Mathematics (2U) and Extension 1 Maths (3U) in the HSC, I obtained an ATAR of 95+ Furthermore, I consistently assisted peers throughout the schooling period and helped them sharpen their skills. Becoming a tutor has been a goal for me in the past that I am only now accomplishing. I have a deep understanding of mathematics that I would like to share and assist in other students, whether they are struggling or looking to maximise their marks. Hourly rate will be $30 / hour for Yr 11 and Yr 12 students undergoing the HSC. Minimum time length is 1 hour, but I am willing to do longer sessions if required.
